Corvette Standard 4-Str, swamp ash, Natural oil finish
This is not a German made Warwrick - it is a Rock Bass. Please beware before having to return. Amazon lists several Warwick's but it's questionable if they are real or the Asian made version. Save yourself the hassle of a return.....

The Streamer $$ has the right sound for every situation. Two MEC MM-Style pickups with open pole pieces can make straight drive, but, if required, offers the right sound for slaps and funk - made possible by the ingenious circuitry. Both pickups can be switched in serial, parallel or single coil independently of each other, and the MEC 2-band electronic permits even further effective conditioning of the signal. The body is made of US Swamp Ash, and is ergonomically perfectly shaped, as one would expect from a Streamer. The neck is made of Maple with a fingerboard of Wenge and has 24 frets. The three different finishes available are natural oiled, colour oiled and high polished. Chrome, gold and black are the three hardware versions offered
I thought this was a true German made Warwick but it's just a glorified China or Korean made Rockbass. Description is not very clear. Buy the similar Rockbass one listed for only $3xx when it's in the Gold Box every once in a while...

Warwick Corvette $$ 4 String Natural Satin Finish Electric Bass
Keep in mind, I'm no Victor Wooten, just a guy who likes to play for fun.Years ago I played a German-made Warwick in a music store, it was amazing...But at over $2,000 I couldn't see myself spending that much on a bass. I am a casual player, and just enjoy making some noise and blowing off some steam.I've always loved the look of the Warwick Corvette, and I heard some rumors about the Rock Bass series. After doing my internet research, 90% of the reviews said that this bass was too good to be true for the price.I feel the same way, I love everything about this bass. The action was nearly perfect right out of the box (every new stringed instrument needs a professional set up until you've had it done, you don't know what you're missing), the Warwick strings that came on the bass are awesome, and the sounds from both pick ups are great. It slaps and pops without effort, and while I was worried the double buck would get in the way of finger plucking, I've had no such issue. The coil taps on both humbuckers give you plenty of tonal options.I'm in with most of the internet reviewers out there, I have no idea how a bass this nice costs so little.I play guitar as well, and if you think Rock Bass is the Warwick equivalent of Epiphone, I will tell you the quality difference is more like comparing a Les Paul Studio (at an Epiphone price) to a Les Paul Standard. If you have any doubts about the quality, don't. If you're trying to step up from a starter bass to something more professional,…

The popular Corvette body shape, known worldwide, of 2-piece Alder lends graceful curves and a solid foundation to provide both thundering lows and distinct highs in an instrument that is just as much fun to play as it is to look at it. The 2 MEC Gold active jazz pickups are paired with active 2-band electronics to provide a wealth of tones well suited for stage or studio. The smooth Maple neck is complemented by a Rosewood fingerboard and nickel frets. The RockBass Corvette Basic, available in a gloss black or transparent blue gloss finish, is sure to please any musician without draining their pocketbooks.
First I want to start by saying my Corvette is a little different than the one pictured here. I believe mine is a new model while the one pictured here is an older model. The main difference is that mine has a 2 piece bridge and doesn't say "RockBass" really big on the head stock. Everything else should be the same, though. It's a great bass for the money. If you're looking for that Warwick growl, it will give it to you. This bass is great to play live because it is light weight, has a small ergonomic body, and one of the thinnest 5 string necks out there.I've only got 2 problems with the bass which made me give it 4 stars:One is the sound. I have spent a lot of time trying to set this thing up to be as versatile as my MusicMan Sterling, and it's been in vain. It pretty much just makes one tone. You can mess with the bass and treble on the pre amp and make it a little different, but it's still pretty much the same. But if that's the tone you are looking for it is perfect for you.The other thing is the finish. In less than 4 months of owning this bass, playing it maybe an hour or so a week at band practice and like 2 gigs (I only play this bass for one 45 minute long set live), I wore off some of the black finish under the B string where I rest my thumb. I like that it sort of gives it character, but I think it should have held up a little longer than that before wearing.

They say "the best things come in three" and the P-Nut III Signature Bass Streamer Stage II is no exception. Tailored to the exact specifications of bassist P-Nut (311), this is the third variation of this model to come from the Warwick Custom Shop. The P-Nut III Signature Bass incorporates Afzelia wood for the back and Burl Blackwood for the top. A Purpleheart laminate in the middle separates the two. All of these exotic woods are select tone woods with distinct surface features. Available exclusively as 5-string the P-Nut III bass has a matched headstock made out of Burl-Blackwood veneer complete with the iconic W-inlay. The neck is Ovangkol and its 24-fret Tigerstripe Ebony fingerboard is adorned with spiral-inlays. The neck-thru design employs the "hidden neck" construction common to all Streamer Stage II basses. The powerful pickups are Seymour Duncan Basslines. A skew-mounted J-type in the neck position sits face-to-face with an MM-style humbucker in the bridge…
I bought this bass new 1 year ago and it continues to amaze me. I have owned some of the top Warwicks they produce and I have to say, this bass is like combining the best parts of a Thumb bass, Streamer Stage II and FNA Jazzman. I gig in reggae and R&b bands and have played through different amps, speakers and PA systems and this bass delivers through good and not so good systems. It's extremely versatile thanks to the Seymore Duncan electronics, which I prefer over the standard MEC electronics in Warwicks. The neck is slimmer than other W models I've had and I find it extremely comfortable in my average sized hands. The balance is superb and the low B is tight when the pick up hieght is set up properly. Finger sytle or slap, it's what I want to hear when I play bass. The killer looks are a real bonus too! Most importantly, I'm done chasing the tone that's been in my head for years! It's my only gigging bass.

The Stiletto Studio Series Basses are hands down Schecter's most popular basses. Combining Euro-High Tech looks and upper-register playability, the Stiletto Studio 5 is the perfect match for many styles of playing! This 5-string model is 35 inch scale, which yields an extremely tight Low B . These neck-thru beauties have an exotic Bubinga top, finished in a Natural Honey Satin finish. The Studio 5 is armed with EMG HZ pickups, and adds a mid-control on the 3-Band EQ (EMG active 18-volt EQ circuit with bass, middle and treble frequency with 12db cut-boost controls). Other features include Schecter tuners and 24 frets. AmericanMusical is an authorized dealer of Schecter products.
I'm primarily a rhythm guitar player at church, but fill in on bass when needed. I borrowed basses prior to buying this one and have played several different models. That said, this is the second best bass I have ever played coming in right behind a modded Peavey Millenium 5ver that was old and USA made. The Pros:This thing thunders! The B-string is tight and has great resonance and/or punch depending on your tone selection. The dual active humbuckers take 2 9 volts to power them and they have a decent range to them. They are EMG pickups, so they have their own sound. When I can afford it, I will likely replace those with some hotter Seymour Duncan HBs. The EQ on the guitar has fantastic range and three bands. There is a knob for bass, mids, and treble. All knobs are nice heavy textured brass looking things with a detent so you can tell where "unity" is. The volume knob lacks the detent, but who would want that? The finish has no hard coating which I count as a pro. I believe this allows the wood to resonate more than if you lacquered it up. Some folks think this is a con because it is definitely easier to damage the instrument. Lastly, the instrument is simply gorgeous. The woods are beautiful, and the neck-thru construction is striking. The Cons:Good Lord this thing is HEAVY! I usually gig for no more than an hour and it's not pleasant afterwards. I know I know, this is why it sounds so good, I just needed something to whine about. Truly if I have to give it any cons…

The body of the Corvette Standard consists of two or three pieces of bubinga. With its shape, ergonomics and sound the Corvette Standard satisfies the aspirations of the most demanding bass players. The switchable, active MEC 2-way electronics and the MEC pickup combination complement one another. Three control knobs provide flexible tone control, in the studio as well as on stage. The highly sensitive dynamic response of the Corvette Standard lets you articulate the most gentle of nuances or slap it for crisp, fat basslines. Additionally, a 4-string passive configuration is available with single coil J/J pickups.
I have been playing bass for over 30 years, and without a doubt this is one of the best Fretless Basses I have ever played. As soon as i sat down and started playing, I knew this is a very special instrument, even the clerk knew by the way i looked at him that i would be taking it home that day. Using round wound strings the high end tones were remenicent of Jaco, and the Ebony finger board gave the feeling and sound of an upright bass. The only downside is the weight of the instrument, but other than that I can find nothing wrong with this bass. The look of the bass is badass, it has the old school look, with dark wood body and the Ebony finger board, it is truly a Jazz bassist dream rig. I played some Jack Bruce licks from the Cream days and was able to dial in a very close sound. If you can afford it, buy it! this bass is destined to become a classic collector for the superb sound and look of the instrument.

Swamp Ash body, Maple neck with Rosewood fingerboard. 24 frets. Passive MEC "dynamic correction" J/J pickups, passive electronics, chrome hardware. Highpolish finish.
The Warwick RockBass Corvette Double Buck. It's a mouthful to be sure, and one heck of an instrument.Having spent the last 2 days running it through its paces, it's already replaced my custom-built Carvin 5-string (dual J-pickups with active electronics) as my primary instrument.Pros:- The honey violin oil finish looks and feels fantastic- Dual humbuckers deliver extremely solid tone- Passive electronics and controls are extremely capable and flexible - and no need to change a battery, ever- Pull a volume knob to split that pickup into 2 single coils - like having 4 jazz bass pickups!- Very nicely contoured tone knob - not just a high cut; doesn't seem to change perceived loudness- Included strap locks are some of the best I've seen- Arrived with action and pickup height set just about perfectCons:- Intonation needed to be adjusted significantly when bass arrived, but that's likely to be expected.- String saddle adjustment screws are positioned at a difficult angle - have your right-angle screwdriver handy- Came strung with strings I can only classify as "beginner" - be sure to get an extra set of your favorites if you purchase this instrumentOverall, a very capable instrument for the money. I'd recommend the Planet Waves 3 Inch Wide Bass Guitar Strap w/ Internal Pad, Black which, combined with the strap locks, makes a fine partner for the Warwick.IMPORTANT NOTE: This instrument is NOT the German-made Corvette $$ 5-string as the Title (by omission) and Product Features…

An Exception To The Rule- It is often said the "beauty is skin deep". The Dean Edge Bass is clearly the exception to the rule! While beauty was the inspiration of the Dean Edge, we put every bit of our 20 plus years of design experience into these models. We started with a body styled and contoured for comfort and the choice basswood to make them lighter. The maple necks were profiled to be faster and sleeker than virtually all other. We designed a "uniquely Dean" custom neck joint and heel along with our asymmetrical 4 bolt pattern creating uninterrupted access all the way up the two octave neck. The Edge Bass is offered in four, five and string models. Experience one of the worlds fines basses - the Dean Edge! I've had this bass for almost a year now but it's been a few months since I've been able to play it. Somehow the wiring to the input jack tore/broke. I am going to take it to a shop and get it fixed because truly, the bass does sound amazing and it has a great feel. I just don't know if I would recommend buying because of how the wiring malfunctioned for no reason (I didn't drop it, I didn't leave the wires exposed, etc.).
The 5-string Warwick Streamer Rockbass Standard is a remarkable entry-level electric bass guitar with exceptional sound and playability usually found only in higher end basses. The solid carolena body, hardly ever found on basses in this price range, delivers a range of exceptional, pleasing tones and incredible sustain. Hardware on Warwick's Streamer Rockbass is top notch, and its 1-piece bridge provides great action for beginners and experienced players alike. A classic bass shape, 2 MEC soapbar pickups, a maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard combine to create an aesthetically pleasing bass guitar that is as enjoyable to play as it is to behold. The construction quality of this Warwick bass is matched by the quality of the materials used.
